Very neat part of the history of the keys

Sadly, it appears to have fallen down. There is also a spray painted no trespassing sign on the road, but the tower is only a short distance past the sign.

Really neat place. Good area for geocaching as well.

Be sure you read up on the tower beforehand; it does *not* have bats actively living here.

Please do not trespass and steal pieces of the bat tower. This is private property. The bat tower is destroyed due to a tornado from hurricane Irma.

A quirky footnote of Florida history. A shame more people don't know about it.
